Yacon is a large perennial plant that is mainly grown and cultivated for its tuberous roots. It has been a traditionally grown vegetable for thousands of years and has a wide variety of uses.
Grown in the Jiri mountains of South Korea and processed by an organic farm (JAS, USDA, EU) that has been naturally cultivating several types of traditional Korean organic teas for decades. Using tea processing techniques to these herbs helps to enhance their flavor and aroma, whilst benefiting from their natural properties.
