Cast Iron Fuji San Wind Bell
Hand made cast iron wind bell made by a 13th generation iron casting family in Iwate, Japan. Wind bells are a seasonal representative of summer and it's ring is meant help create a sense of cool as the wind blows.
Tanazaku paper is a famous tanka poem by Ishikawa Toshiki hand written and reads:
The general interpretation is that the soft blue shores of the Kitakami River, in which the weeping willow blooms, can be seen clearly.
